Hi all its been awhile since i posted. I am going to get in to apistos and other dwarfs along with discus in the coming months. after i move i was wondering what size tank is good for single pair apistos? i do kribs in a 10 gallon my plan is to do a three or four tier rack of 20l,15,10 lined 3 to 4 across all run off a single pump and each tank filtered by a sponge and box on opposite sides.i was planing on using pure ro water. as the stuff i get from hyvee has a ph of 6.8.
i plan on buying my own and hopefully it will soften more. anyway i will take the steps needed to bring it down more soke peat and drift wood in the tanks.
any other suggestions now where to get quality stock in MN?

I've bred a lot of d.c.s in 10s but feel a 15 is a better choice - and a 20L even better. I now use mostly 15s and 20Ls. As for sources of dwarfs in Minnesota, I suggest that you go to a MAS meeting sometime. I was a speaker there last month. There are several very good dc breeders in the club.

thanks mike when is mac meet and where at. It can be difficult for me to make these as i am a father of 2 young children the oldest almost 2 and the youngest 6 months. thanks for your advise.
