apisto. sp "Lyretail" pandurini

hi, i recently got 2 pairs of apisto. sp "Lyretail" pandurini, however, i was looking on the website for some information about this apisto (like temp, ph, gh, kh where it come from...etc) however, i couldn't find any. If anyone knows anything about this fish, or have it too...PLEASE TELL ME!!!

I had them once and all I can say is keep the lid on the tank!!!!!!!!

WELCOME TO THE FORUM

This is yet another fairly new introduction in the Nijsenni group (there are alot of them lately). It is a nice looking fish that is quite similar to the panduro, except for the lyretail and corresponding break in the red caudal perimeter. In Panduro, the caudal fin is round and has a distinctive semicircular red band around the posterior portion. In the Lyretail, this band is broken by the lyretail and remains on the top and bottem. Females are very similar within the 2 species. The fish also goes by the name A. mortenhaler.
I don't know this for a fact, but I would not be suprised if this fish was a little more difficult to breed (I haven't really tried). Probably requiring softer, more acidic water than its non-lyre-tailed namesake.
I have had these fish on the list on and off for the past year or so. They are available and can be found.
