I have amano shrimps with Trifasciatas and they aren't bothered at all. I'm not sure about cacatuoides or nijsenni but Trifasciatas shouldn't be a problem at all.
I had some amano shrimp and some cherry shimp in my planted 10 gallon. For some stange reason they all disapeared after I added a large male cactuoides.

Well thanks a lot ppl!!
I have figured that trifasciata are peacefull ones, and that cacatuides aren't... and nijsseni looks like agressive little buggers too...
Well, i will not put any shrimps then... cuz my aquarium is not yet ready... my plants are not yet spread all over the tank, so i think that Amano shrimp will have no chance to survive...
Once again - THANX!
You ppl have saved me money... bu you allready know that
I have a 125 gal tank with 19 amano's, 5 cacatouides (2lg m/3fm),
2 panduro's. At any given time I can count about 12-15 shrimp. I would
say go for it. They are such cool creatures and they add alot of personality
to the tank. good luck
