Pair of Apisto in a 25L?

Hi i have a 40cm long 25L aquarium would a pair of Apisto's be ok in this size, it is heavily planted.

For long term keeping, 80 liters (20 gallons long, not high) is recommended. Some experts will put pairs in as small as 40 liters temporarily for breeding, but not for long term keeping.

25 liters is just far too small for apistos. Nano fish or inverts would be good for this size.

I agree. 25 Liters is too small. and even experts use 60cm long 54 Liters

The only species that I have ever kept that would be suitable would be A. wapisana. It is small (<4cm/1.5"), unspectacular (ugly) in color and finnage, but interesting breeding behavior.

Kneejerk reaction, because I don't like the classic domestic B. splendens.
I'd rather go Badis or Parosphromenus
