When can the female be separated from the fry?

Today my A. hongsloi fry is abot 16 days old. Of the 50 fry there's only about 5 left today. I'm feeding them with newlyhatched artemia and it looks like the female eats most of it. Can I separte the female from the fry now or will they need her? There's no other fishes in the tank.

I see no problem removing the female now as long as she is the only large fish in the aquarium.

Ok, I've done it today. I moved her to a tank where there's a A. hongsloi male. He's the only fish in that tank. Hopefully she'll like her new home and friend, and that my fry will survive without their mother.
