What apistos will breed without ro water

I have got cacatuoides and I am keen to get some other apistos but don't want to go through the hassle of ro water systems

simple answer is yes... you dont need RO water for apistos to breed, its just that RO water is effective at getting the soft water that they need.

Agreed. I have many kinds, and all them have bred. I use normal well water, nothing special in it.

Like other write, most apistos don't need R/O water. Which species will do well in your tanks depends on your water values. Do you know your values?

Depends on your local water supply...

Some have soft water out of the tap....I have liquid rock

I live in Sydney ph around 7.5 but I age the water whith drift wood anubius plants and the ph usually goes to6.5-7.0 and 130 ppm what typ of Apisto would people recamend after cacatuoides

Your water isn't really that bad. I would try any of the white-/clearwater species from the macmasteri-group, steindachneri-group, regani-group, and agassizii-complex.
