Those are definitely NOT A. erythrura and the A. cacatuoides 'Triple Red' seem to have very small pelvic fins for that size of fish.

There is a little fin burn on the cacatuoides (I'm guessing from shipping) that should grow back out.

The A. trifasciatus are at about 1". What traits are you using to distinguish them as trifasciatus and not erythrura? Color can't be used yet as they are young and no where near full color. I'd like to know what to look for beyond the red tail of adult dominant males. I see pictures of some adult erythrura that show a hint of an angular line through their belly.

I have adults A erythrura that are full grown around 2.5"+ with no line at all. Any line on the belly is a trifasciata, hence the name 'tri'. The picture was a very young male that is around 1.5". Of the several hundreds that I have raised, I have yet to see a line below their lateral line. Color variation on the caudal fin and cheek will vary but the diagonal line is never there. There is a color form of A. erythrura from Rio Guapore that has no red or blue at all (as compare to the Rio Mamore), but then it also has no diagonal line.

Actually, I was hoping that they were erythrura as I would like to get some as well.

Any images of the cacatuoides "CS"? Great looking list, very excited to see you're on your way to back up and running. If I can get some of my HRPs sold to free up space(and cash) I'll be putting in an order for some of the A. borellii "Paraguay"--gorgeous and will love living in cooler water with my nezzy's!

See you at the GCCA swap in Hillside....even though Milwaukee is the same distance for me just in the other direction.

I'm actually looking for A. Baenschi Inka and A. Bitaeniata, but I like your Borelli "Paraguay!

I guess I'm kind of a weirdo I still like to pick my fish in person.

Are you going to have any surprises at the swap? Or, pretty much what you have on the list here?

I should have a few "new" Apistos listed this weekend. I needed to restock a few of what I already had posted that sold out and grabbed a handful of species I didn't get the first time. This will be it until the next import though as the fish are now tapped out!

I should be getting:
A. baenschi
A. sp. Algodon
A. agassizii Blue Tail (red tail with blueish triangle/diamond lines instead of a solid red tail

I think that will be it until after the swap as I only have a few tanks running right now. I need to get the new fish room started so I'm ready to go full tilt come the South American Apisto collecting season!

I'm not gonna be able to order for at least 3 weeks due to tank troubles, so don't reserve me any, but if you still have anything in a few weeks then you're my first choice to order from :)

Do you still have the Apistogramma baenschi? I would also be interested in a trio of your Apistogramma borellii Paraguay.
Yes, I have some baenschi yet but the A. borellii Paraguay are sold out. I think I have 1 pair of the A. sp. Opal Red Face/Mask available yet but I need to take a head count again. It's tough keeping track of what's available while holding everyones fish while waiting for better weather to ship.

Hey, sorry but I think I will actually get some cacatuoides since this is my first try with dwarves. I really want the trifasciata but I dont want to spend so much money and have them die, and the cacatuoides are alot more hardy from what I hear, but I will hopefully order from you once I have a little more experience with the dwarves. Sorry for the trouble, Cole.
