We have a big low pressure system moving through this week, and in its wake my Parananochromis gabonicus and the older pair of Chromidotilapia melaniae have spawned (the younger pair looks like they are setting up too). One P. brevirostris pair is staying very hidden (they are usually out a lot). Other, not as rare, westies that are also on eggs or fry are Hemichromis cf. lifilili 'Moanda', Pelvicachromis roloffi, P. taeniatus 'Moliwe' and P. sacrimontis. Hopefully the characins will trigger too.
