Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on a water safe paint to use on breeding traps? I have many of the livebearer type breeding traps that I often use to hold fry for a short time. I would like to paint them black so as to reduce the stress on the fry. What paint is safe for this use?
Thanks
Steve

underwater paint

Hi Steve, I have a lot of small thick glass bottles 3 to 4 inches long that look like old minature milk jugs that were used in the old days. I came upon them @ a yard sale and they work great execpt they are clear. I went to a craft hobby store and found water safe glass paint. She told me it was non toxic and would cling to anything. It worked great I am sure there is a market for this paint. But I would start at a store of this kind or even at childrens hobby web sites.
