I bought this wild fish from a pet shop in Montreal area, It came from a Columbia shipment, sold as A. iniridae, but after going through Romer Apistogramma identification key I believe it is A.juruensis. Can it be confirm?
It's a blue-gray color morph of A. cacatuoides. Fins and dark markings are typical. The caudal fin has a bit of an unusual pattern, however. Since there are populations of A. cacatuoides from Pucallpa, Peru to Óbidos, Brazil, it isn't surprising that there is some variation.
This fish came in from Peru to a shop here a while ago, sold as A. cacatuoides.
It has the same unusual pattern in the caudal fin as Moise's fish, but different colors, a slightly narrower lateral band, and no visible abdominal stripes.
