I collect Apistos since December 2005 :)
I'm loving that small fish, hope i will collect Diploetania, Harlequin (Rositae) and a few more :)
At the moment only Apistogramma sp. "Masken", sp. "Nanay", erythrura from fish what i got does't breed at my tanks :)

You tanks seem well maintained also. How many tanks do you have, what sizes and what kind of plants do you easley keep w/your dwarfs.

Thanks for the photos, they helped a LOT now i know that the apisto at the pet store is cf. pertensis and the one I caught is (probably) A. pertensis or something else unless the fish pictured (at least #3) is a female, the fish i caught has a much bigger dorsal, anal, and caudal fin.
By the way it would help cosiderably if you could get a pictur of one out of the water, if the stress patter is mettalic blue-green patches under the lateral line it would help a lot.
look at this thread for comparison all of the pertensis looking fish are the same...

number 2,4,12, and 13 are all the same sp.
Also what does cf. stand for? very nice apistos!!!Soon i will upload some more photos of the same fish for better identification.

A'propos Adoketa, I bought 8 fish , but ....
They are still in the Germany in my mate aquarium. I did not take back them because of the lack of the time yet. :frown:

PS. You inspired me to collecting APISTOS blueblue :wink:
