my dithers dont dither

i have a 60g planted tank with a family of p.pulchers mom and dad and twelve offspring about 2 inches being the biggest,i ended up with a real good ratio 5 males 7 females(gave the other 30 away).i also have 4 rasboros and a bumblebee goby(hes cool and surprisingly tough)there is still alot of finnicky behavior and aggression and fear.what are the best dithers for kribs?or what should i add?the tank is in the front room and i want it active and entertaining.thanks

In a tank the size of yours I suspect that you do not have enough dithers. You might try increasing the size of the school of rasboras. Small rainbows, platies, swordtails and small gouramies are also good dithers. I like using African tetras when I can. In a 60 gallon a school of 6 - 10 congo tetras woudl look great.

You might also consider thinning the crowd of kribs a bit. As all those fish get older they will become more territorial, and more fishts will break out. It is possible that in a crowded (with cichlids) situation the kribs might stay in the caves they are guarding. If there was less competition the fish may get out and a away from their caves more frequently because they woudl not fear losing the home to a rival.
