I posted a video blog of my rams this evening: www.tedsfishroom.com

I am going to prepare a better video about feeding the REpashy food to fry, but there is a clip in this video of fry that are less than 6 hours free-swimming discovering the food and starting to pick at it. But I am out of food until the shipment comes tomorrow! I will feed them with Repashy again tomorrow and get more video.

I dont really see the fry eating the food. Do their bellies turn green? I will probably still feed mine with paramecia for the first few days to make sure. Do you plan to feed them newly hatched artemia or Repashy all the way?

You can find the Repashy foods at www.tedsfishroom.com .....

I do feed the fry brine and paramecium, but I keep Repashy food in with them all day. My camera was out of juice this morning, unfortunately. I made some gel food and then watched the female chew it up and spit it into the crowd of fry.

Sasikan, glad you still got the paramecia I sent you. How are the D. maculatus doing? The sex ratio for my other batches are about one-third males. I was keeping them at a pH around 6.5 and the temperature around 80F. You can raise the temperature abit and try to get 50/50. You will get mostly males if you keep them at around 85F base on what I have seen from the imports.

And I got a notification on the shipment of Repashy food today. I cant wait to try them out on my rams.
