I would very much appreciate it if someone could help me. My male Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid, who is about 6 months old has lost his bouyancy!
He is eating fine, and can still swim, but rather than gently swimming and floating around the tank, when he stops swimming he immediately quickly sinks to the bottom of the tank! He is now either resting on the rocks or the sand. His colouring has become dull, he was a fiesty fish!
My other fish are all fine, including my female Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid, and the tank is clean and well maintained. If anyone could suggest what is wrong with him or how I can help him, I would be very grateful, thank you.
