Hello all,

I just found a pic of a fish I had some years ago. When I got him, I bought him as a. agassizii tefe but I was wondering if he really was. I mean, it really didn't matter much, he was a beautiful fish.

Anyways, I saw the old pic and now I am really curious how to differentiate agassizii from gephyra. Can you explain the difference between the two species to me?

The problem is 'tefe' is overload - there is a species 'tefe' and line bred tefe (which is a colour)... I believe from other posts on this forum species tefe has a more zagged central line....

I really wish 'tefe' domestic line didn't exist because it really confuse people sort of like macs being sold as vieja.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
