I was curious if anyone has tried these for their dwarf cichlids or apistos in particular? they seem highly nutritious but also quite expensive for 30 grams of food.

I've tried this but they didn't like it nearly as much as the frozen. I still have half a can of this left. The frozen they seem to like okay but not as much as brine shrimp.

my experience pretty much mirrors bev's.while it will make your fish color up like nobody's business some of my fish will eat it most won't.the only way i was able to get everything to eat it was to add it to my homemade paste food.which consists of nightcrawlers,spirulina flake food(for a binder),some boyd's vitachem and either cyclopeeze wafers or frozen cyclopeeze,also one or two packs of unflavored gelatin(depending on how much you make) ad konings also suggests using uncooked cleaned grocery store shrimp(the whole ones)

There is a product made by Tetra called Micro crabs it is made with cyclop eeze. I have found all of my Apisto's, Angels, Discus, Plecos etc eat it with gusto. It also is an intense color enhancer. I wish they sold it in bulk as I would use it for all of my fish.

The tetra "micro Crabs" dont seem to contain that much cyclopeeze, but if the fish will eat it more readily than the cyclopeeze then I suppose it is worth trying. If you compare the protien and fat content of cyplopeeze to this tetra product, the pure cyclopeeze is much higher.
