Hi all, has anyone seen the moving of newly hatched fry to a new site. My triple red female has had 3 batches of eggs, no sign of fry. This time she seems to have moved hatchlings to another coconut hut near by. I watched her go back and forth and seem to be delivering her brood, this happened about the time the eggs should have been hatching out. Now she is garding both sites. I have read that the female will remove the fry from the egg and place them on the ground, but have not read anywhere of this moving behavior. Anyone else seen this??? Thanks

Moving fry is not really unusual, especially if there are other fish in the aquarium. This lessens the chance that the breeding site will be found by predators. Good luck, I hope things work out well for you this time.
