Apistogramma sp. Xingu

A few days ago saw the purchase of some Apistogramma sp. Xingu (not sure what strain as they are very young). Unfortunately we have lost one since purchase :( but the others seem okay, though extremely shy.

I will endeavour to get better images once they have fully settled and coloured up. :)

It doesnt surprise me at all Andrew... A.sp. Xingu has a reputation for aggressive behaviour. If no leaf litter is supplied and the tank on the smallish side then this can be the result, even if both sexes are present.
