Apistogramma Cactuoides - Male or Female??

Had a definite male/female pair, and decided to add another female.

So out of all the apistos in the tank this is the one they thought most to be female.

As soon as my female saw this "female" she was already tail slapping and chasing the new one around.

I would say it's a male.

As would I. No female cacatuoides that I know ever had such long caudal extension. On the other hand, many males of domestic strain don't develop the high dorsal spines of wild males.
