Hello
This my first post on this group so for starters I will write something about myself. My name is Peter & I live in Brooklyn NY.
I am initiating apisto a maniac:biggrin:
Weakly I speak and still worse I write in English, so apologize all if something stupid I will write:)

My question refers holdings together Apistogramma agassizi of different variations.
I can put to the 75G aquarium Apistogramma agassizi santarem(1+2) Apistogramma agassizi Double Red(1+2)?
Is is possible? There are no anti-condemnations? Can go out from this some of mutants when will group together santarem and double red?

Thanks
PeterM

Welcome the the Apisto Forum.

Now to answer your question. Yes, you can keep 2 trios of apistos in a 75 gallon aquarium - if it is well decorated and with suitable community members. Your main problem will be mixing 2 different forms of A. agassizii. Actually, there is evidence that the Santarem population is part of a species that is different from the holotype form of A. agassizii. The Santarem population of A. cf. agassizii Broad Black Caudal Seam (BBCS) is a pure population. The Double Red Agassizii probably are already a mix of populations/species. They will cross-breed and produce mixed fish. If this is not a problem with you, then put them together. Just don't expect to produce offspring that look like the parents.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer
I have several questions.
Into future Saturday I will do the restart of my aquarium(75G):
I have:
LIGHTS: 2x 28 (fluorescent lamps T5, should be enough but I can add} 2x40 T12),
Substrate: Quikrete Play Sand,
six malesia driftwood,
Several the coconut,
Ketapang Leaves,

Plants:
2x Echinodorus bleheri
1x Echinodorus osiris
1x Echinodorus rubin
10x Echinodorus tenellus,
2xHydrocotyle leucocephala
I plan fish:
(1+2) And. agassizi santarem
(1+2) A.bitaeniata orange
10 Carnegiella strigata

Can I add the pair Mikrogeophagus ramirezi?

And were what that best parameters of water?
I have RO+DI filter so I can hold:
ph ~5.5
KH 0
GH 0
For fish surely it is suitable conditions but will plants hold out?
