Hi

I`m looking for some info and pic of Apisto Diamond
Probably not the valid name

Thanks
George

No, it's not a valid name. Could be everything. Without pictures, it's impossible to identify, what fish are behind this name.
But the name A. sp. "Diamante" (=Diamond) was used for A. eremnopyge a while ago.

regards,
Rolo

I have just seen this name on some Apisto's in Swindon and they are/or look very much like Pebas Species. They were quite young, but you could tell they had a double spot on the caudal peduncle. When asking the fishshop guys it appears these ones came in from Singapore.
Hopefully if you look up the Cichlid Atlas 2 Book you should be able to see it on page 1001.
Good Luck.
