yes, i cannot distinguish the two. but the salesman says the bitaneata from bauana has clearer patterns on the body than the normal Tefe.

I re-checked my location. The Rio Bauana actually is a tributary of the Rio Tefé. It is a left bank (west) tributary that enters the upper (southwestern) shore of Lago Tefé. Sorry for the confusion. Next time I'll check to be certain of my locations before I reply.
