A. Steindachneri female ??

On last saturday I bought 1+2 A. Steindachneri. At this moment I'm sure that I've got one 100% male, but I'm not sure that two "females" - photos below. It's females or yong males What do you think ??

These fish seem very young. Females will have black front parts on the ventral fins. Males do not. I can only guess, but I think the first fish is a young male & the second fish is a female. Only time will tell.

Both fish have got 3,5 cm, and today, I saw a litle black shade on the ventral fins one of them (this second), so You guess can be right I'll be very happy, when I'll see the same detale on the first fish :wink:
