personnaly i start bbs only when i see fry free swimming , not before.
but usually my breeding tank are full of java moss , and plant so fry usually get food on that.
anyway before free swimming they will not eat.
and bbs take 24hour for me so ....
Why not start now? You will see if the eggs/hatching practices are working properly. The bbs will be happily eaten by your adults as well as fry. In this way you will have bbs when the fry first need it.
Thanks guys. I started culturing them today, so hopefully I get the process down pat before I have some swimmers. I've used frozen in the past, and want to 'do it right' so to speak this time, to get better results.
