I cam home with what is hopefully a pair an hour ago. One hour of drip to go.

What is this plant on the left? Some species of Nymphaea?

Classic Nymphea lotus, the Tiger Lotus.

And here we go. One is surely a male, the other... I hope it just has a ripped caudal. The only definitely sexed female was not in good shape. Rather getting some more at another time.

Well, well, well...
The female is indeed a female. And she want's to spawn. But the male is obviously too small and too young. So she is pushing him in the back corner. Going to report back, planning to separate them right now.

What species of nymphea; some of those lililies will fill a pond.

I got them as Nymphaea lotus. And I'd say it fits.
