I currently have 7 Apistogramma eremnopyge "fresa"
as they are still quite small their in a 10g, however I would like to set them up a long term home
What it looks likely to be is a 36by12by18high (unless I buy the glass and build a 36by18by18)
now from my research I found their from the Rio Itaya, however, I only discovered 1 kilifish and 2 catfish species are from that tributary as well, (and they would be somewhat hard to track down)
so I have decided to be more generalised in the "biotope" and have it based on the Ucayali system in general.
as such I was thinking that my general setup would be bogwood and sand, with live plants such as vallis and crypts, and some moss growing on the wood. and then some leaf litter.
and stocking I was thinking; the 7 apistos, 7-10 Nannostomus mortenthaleri, 6 Otocinlus Cocama and maybe 6 corydoras trilineatus
any thoughts??
