I have a dwarf cichlid heavy order placed for arrival Nov. 12th and I’m finishing up a Colombian order for arrival at the same time. I won’t know what is actually filling on the orders until the fish come in but here is the teaser for what was ordered from Brazil and the substitute list in case something on the order wasn’t available:

Apistogramma staecki
Apistogramma caetei Marajo
Crenicichla compressiceps
Crenicichla regani Tapajos
Crenicichla nothophalmus Rio Negro
Dicrossus maculatus
Nannostomus nitidus

subs
cardinal tetra
Crenicara puntulatum
Rineloricaria steindachneri

The fish are in and settling down nicely for the most part.

The Nannostomus nitidus, Crenicichla notophalmus, and Colombian angels didn't fill.

The mystery Apisto. from Colombia looks to be macmasteri but I'll get pictures to Mr. Wise for confirmation. The Colombian pencils are N. eques.

So here is the list of what I received (prices to follow later today or Wednesday):

Colombia
Green Neons
Cory. habrosus
Cory. metae-huge and nice
Cory. axelrodi
Ruby Tetra (A. riesi)
Nannostomus eques
Blue Rams-great size and color
Apisto. macmasteri (?)

Brazil
Apisto. cf. agassizii Tefe-VERY NICE
Apisto. caetei Marajo
Apisto. gephyrae-large and colorfull
Apisto. staecki-already starting to show nice patterning and color
Apisto. paucisquamis-small but they look to be the right fish and have a TON of color
Crenicichla compressiceps
Crenicichla regani
Dicrossus maculatus-large and very nice looking-the best wild maculatus I have ever received-0 DOA's!!!

So it looks like the gephyra and the cf. Tefe I received are all the same fish and aren't either of the fish I ordered! The jury is still out on exactly what they are but for now I'll call them Apistogramma sp. aff. Tefe. $35/pr 3pr/$90 The pictures below are from the two bags I received. Both yellow and blue males are present in both groups. The single cf. Tefe male pictured in the previous post came in mixed with some other fish.

Here are the 6 cf. gibbiceps that the loan male cf. Tefe came in with. These guys aren't for sale, sorry! Considering 7 fish came in in a 1/2 bag from Brazil that would normally hold 30-50 Apistos the shipping alone makes these guys VERY expensive!

These are NOT your regular gibbiceps. Look at the tail pattern especially on the small fish.
