I kept a pair in 15G, heavily planted community tank and they did fine--bred on their own and everything and managed to raise up several fry with minimal intervention on my part. I'm sure a harem of two females would work just as well, provided there are reasonably clearly demarcated territories for each. Best of luck, and enjoy!
