Hello everybody!
as per title, i wanted to ask your to know what to check when buying at my LFS (supposing no female in breeding colours nor formed couples).
images.png

(i found this on google, i hope i do not infringe any rule, just using as a guide)
What i read/heard is that:
- pointy end for dorsal and anal fin = male
- round end for dorsal and anal fin = female
- vertical black line on the front of the pelvic fin = female

Can you confirm or correct me? Are there any other characteristics i could look for?
Since what size are A. borellii sexable?

Thank you a lot for any help :)

If you can't sex them they are probably too young/small. I would expect them to be sexible at 3.5 cm/1½". Males are more colorful, have a higher dorsal fin, and more pointed tips on the dorsal ad anal fins. Young males can look much like females - including black front pelvic spines.
