Ramirezi female

I just turned up the heat from the water in my tank abit from 24 (75.5) to 26 (78.8) degrees and for some reason my ramirezi female won't leave my killyfish alone now…. I haven't read anything about it that this would be a bad combination could someone maybe explain this???

How big is the tank and how quickly the temperature increased? If the change happen to quick, maybe this caused too much stress on the female. Just guessing..

the tank is 120 litre so about 31 galons, size 60x40x60 (centimetres) and it's not really quick i just turned the heater abit up seeing this message is 43 mins ago and i think i raised it like 20 mins before that so say i did it like 1 hour ago and the temperature raised to 25 yet so i don't think that is really quick? I don't think this should give stress to the ram female but if stress is the reason than it will probably gone by tomorrow and be all fine

I think the increased temp is boosting her spawning hormones, and thus making her more protective of her territory. 75 F may have been too cool to "think" about breeding. Why she chose a killifish as her target is anybody's guess. Maybe something about the killie's color or behavior is triggering the ram's "enemy" instinct.
