I'm not sure, but I think they may be the inflorescences of the Echinodorus plants, they form tufts of leaves (where the flowers would be) if they remain submerged.

Thanks, both of you.

Bacopa it was. But not so shure anymore.
I have bacopa and it is either some weird species or more likely something totally different. bacopa isn't really leafy and this plant is - i've seen it before but i can't recall where or if i ever knew the name.

It looks a lot like my echinodorus parviflorus when it spreads (plantets) but i would expect to see roots on some of them and i don't so not sure.

Btw nice video showing the difference between rio negro and rio orinoco.

I agree they are baby Echinodorus plants, I have had several like that recently in one of my tanks, at first I thought they were going to produce flowers, but maybe as they are submerged they produced these plantlets instead. They do eventually produce small roots but not for quite a while.

Yep, my thought basically, and yes Bacopa was definitely wrong.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
