Pelvicachromis Taeniatus Moliwe

Hi

My Male P. Taeniatus Moliwe is breathing a bit hard.

Some time in on the top on the tank and other time he on the bottom or he just swimming around,but still breathing a bit hard

Is this normal??

Doesn`t look like he eating and he on the botton of the tank
Look like he going to die??

I suspect that it is the equivalent of 'Malawi bloat', a Hexamita protozoan infection. It is pretty common in most tropical fish. You can try moving the the fish to a hospital tanks and treating with metronidazole or Clout. API's product General Cure is a metro formulation.
