newbie question

i have just bought romer's cichlid atlas and wondered what the codes under remarks ment ive figured out

T =temperature
L= size
A= recomended tank size
BUT WHAT DOES R; & D: MEAN???
any info would be apreciated

R = Region the fish will occupy in the tank
D = Degree of difficulty to keep (I think it is ranked 1 - 4, 1 being easiest)
