Linebred agassizii like this are usually called "double red". "Fire red" is a different strain.it is a linebred strain of A. agassizii called "Fire red"

I really dont know anything about the domestic strains, i had seen fish looking like his being sold under the name "Fire red", the common problem with domestic strains, everyone can call them hoy they want, will call the "double red" now.Linebred agassizii like this are usually called "double red". Yes everyone can call them as they want, but in doing so, things become even worse. So it's a good idea to stick to the commonly used names in case of domestic strains too.Thanks for the info! Tradenames are my bane.Yes everyone can call them as they want, but in doing so, things become even worse. So it's a good idea to stick to the commonly used names in case of domestic strains too.
