good day everyone, i have a 75 gallon planted tank with one male agassi and one male cacatuoid , the agassi wouldnt settle into an area and would just cruise the whole tank and drive the other male to the top of the tank all the time stressing him out . I even placed three pots for him to carve out his area and he shows no interest at all. I am in the process of looking for females for them but what can i do in the meantime? is this normal , i thought my tank is big enough for them to have their own territory..thanks ...

I knew someone who had a 6'/1.5 m tank that was ruled by a Silver-tip Tetra. Each fish will have its own disposition. My guess is that your tank is not set up with distinct boundaries and blocked lines of sight. Your A. agassizii can see across the entire tank and considers it all his territory.
