What is the first "apisto" ?
Is that the "black diamond" sand ?

The first apisto is a juvenile cacatuoides female, I believe. The substrate in this tank is a mixture of the black diamond sand and flourite black. The flourite is small gravel size, and the sand has mostly settled down under the gravel, but you can see the little darker sand particles in a couple of the pictures. Here is a picture of it in action in my african tank:
