I'd be interested in hearing about anyone's experience with these fish as I have a breeding pair and I'm not really familiar with their behaviour. I assumed they would form a strong bonded pair, like Neolamprologus or Steatocranus (as they come from the same habitat), but my pair appear to be completely uninterested in each other. The female is guarding a brood but the male sits at the other end on the tank. Is this consistant with other peoples' observations?
