laetacara curviceps?

Hey sorry to bug everybody again. I got some pictures of the fish. Not 100% sure what they are. orange on top of dorsal fin and pretty bold line through body? ordered 8 and was sent 10! -Bradley

The fish in the photos are too small to properly identify. I will say that from what I can see the head profile does not look like that of any Laetacara species. I see "L. curviceps" is offered on Aquabid, but the fish in the photos are not Laetacara.

Well, that could be the answer I was looking for(still neat fish though). I'll grow them out and ask again later. still pretty small. anybody else bought this fish? -Bradley

My guess is that they are one of 'blue acaras' (Andinoacara) species. If they are, then expect them to grow to 6-8"/15-20cm.

you know, that was what I was kind of thinking. I saw some sub adults at a pet store here in town this morning and they looked pretty much like the same fish. Well... I guess I'm on the lookout for some L.C's or L.D's then.
