Laetacara Araguaiae spawned! Any chance in a community?

I think you have 3 choices. 1. Put the L. araguaiae in there own breeding tank. They will keep the fry for 4-8 weeks before breeding again. Then you will need a grow-out tank for the young. 2. Remove 1 of the pair. One cichlid rarely breeds - but it this has been reported and verified in the past! 3. Trade the pair for something else. I vote for #1.

A 15 or 20H would be the minimum for this species. Considering the size of a spawn, I also suggest that you will need something even larger if you want to try to raise all of the fry. Then you would need a grow-out tank ....
