L. meleagris and L. speciosus... same?

I recently picked up a trio of Lamprologus meleagris from my lfs. I've been doing some research, and it seems like meleagris and speciosus might be the same fish? It's so confusing to keep up with constantly changing taxonomy, I was wondering if anyone knew if they were the same species, or are they actually different? They both have an uncanny resemblence to L. ocelatus, and I'll vouch for my meleagris having the same temperment.
