Keeping two males together

Hi all and thanks in advance. I've done a fair bit of research but I'm still a bit unclear on this.

Is keeping two males in a tank primarily down to size and space? I realise also all fish are individuals, particularly in this case and it's a bit of a dice roll on personalities.

My tank is 70cm length, 55cm deep, and 60cm high, so almost a cube (200l, basically 4ft square).

I don't really want breeding, but some interaction would be interesting. I fear though the shape of my tank is not practical for two males? Is it potentially possible with some serious hardscaping? If so, which species might be most likely to succeed? (Two of same species or two different, I've seen advice on here that two males as different as possible would be an idea?)

I'm wondering if a hardscape divide diagonally across the tank, a sort of ridge, leaving two distinct areas of territory would facilitate this?

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
