Juvenile Apistogramma Borellii

he came in the mail a few days ago with his/her pair, and i’ve been meticulously watching them. i noticed what seems to be a little white slightly raised spot today. im very worried and im wondering what it is and how to go about treating it.

could it just be his coloration?

It could be many different things, including a raised or missing scale. Better photos also from different perspectives would definitely help. I do hope you have it and you newr pair in a quarantine tank.
