Just want to share my Joy

About 2 1/2 months ago I put a pair of A. Pebas in a 20h with three platies. A few weeks later they layed eggs...a week later I saw about 15 fry swimming around w/mom. Shortly after dad was found belly up and a few days later mom followed. I have no idea why...no signs of sickness or aggression from any of the fish in that tank. I looked for the fry....but I guess the platies had a party.

So I removed the platies and put them in my platy tank. I left the tank as it was...didn't clean just a water change every two weeks.

Last night....there the were I saw two fry....real good size too...a little larger then 1/2". I think there are more somewhere.

I can't figure out what they have been living off of. I squirted a bunch of bbs, but none came out to eat...so I just left them alone.

Well that is it....just wanted to share!

Nice!! Hopefully you get at least a pair out of it! Sometimes we all think that these guys are pretty fragile, and yet we forget that they have to survive in nature! Congrats of the find! Fingers crossed that there are a few more hidden away somewhere!
