If you're within reasonable driving distance of Bucks County, PA, you should try to attend tonight's BCAS meeting. Tonight's speaker is Jeremy Basch, one of the leading American authorities on geophine cichlids. Jeremy joins us from Columbus, OH. It's a rare opportunity to hear him speak on the east coast so take advantage if you can. We'll be getting together for dinner before the meeting at 6:00 pm at The Churchville Inn, which is right down the street from our meeting place at the Churchville Nature Center.

Seriously though, Jeremy came to talk at the Greater Cincinnati Aquarium Society, and the talk was very good. Very thorough, with lots of pictures. Especially helpful, since Geophagus is one of those genera that has its fair share of complexes and undescribed species.
