Issue with my Cacatuoides

For the second time my pair of Cacatuoides spawned. First time I believed they ate their egg, and second time the same thing. One the third time I took a peaked inside the cave, and noticed there were only 4 eggs left. Is it wise to remove the egg and place them in another tank? Or just leave it in there with the parent?

I have no experience with apistos, but i just order a pair of cacatuoides triple red this morning from mylfs. If it was any other cichlid (or fish for that matter) that was repeatedly eating its eggs i would be removing them asap and raise them seperately

I would leave your parents to raise the eggs/fry and not interupt them, your setup might need tweaking slightly for them to feel secure enough to raise their young?? are you using small caves with a tiny, easily defendable entrance? if the Apistos feel threatened by you or tankmates then they might recycle the eggs and try again a week or so later?? Do you have any tankmates that will be stressing them out?

Entrance into the cave is very tiny and defensible. The tank is very heavily planted. I guess I'll just keep trying.
