Import season Apistogramma

Hi Guys,

Am based in Holland.

Was wondering if anyone was/is aware when its the best time to exspect Apistogramma in stores? So when is it import time

It really depends on the country of origin. The end of the rainy season is the usual start for collectors. In Peru, where we get most of our commercial imports, this is usually sometime in March/April. In much of Brazil it's later.

Right was more a general Question, So we could say season isnt even started yet if we talk wildcaught fish etc.

So best for me to wait a little longer? As am looking for 2 species of Apistogramma's look for something special

Common species are imported most of the year. It depends on what you want.

Those species am also not intrested in. Am talking about things like Viejita,Velifera,megatera,piaroa
