These guys came in with a batch of wild caught rams from Columbia. I was thinking MacMasteri, maybe hoignie?

I just got them yesterday, I’ll update with better pictures once they settle in and get colored up

Good idea. However, there are so many very similar macmasteri-group species that it is often impossible to tell the exact species without knowing the exact catch location.

Wow, those are some interesting looking fish! I'm not entirely sure, but they could be MacMasteri. It's hard to tell from the pics though. Maybe wait until they color up more?
