I.D. help please

I bought these guys as wild caught juruensis.

That's A. sp. Black Chin (or sp. Schwarzkinn if you prefer German) from Peru which is almost always the fish that comes in labeled as jurunsis. The true jurunsis comes from Brazil and is seldom if ever commercially exported. Your second picture shows that characteristic black chin spot on a female very clearly which leaves no doubt as to the I.D. of your fish.

Are the black chin a hard fish to spawn or are they tank bred in ease.

A. sp. Black-chin/Schwarzkinn is a blackwater species. It needs moderately soft and acid (pH<6.0) for successful reproduction.
