Get the 1 threads written at the top of the page instead of at the bottom?

Click on the little arrow ("reverse sort order") in the "Last Post" column. Is this what you meant to know?

Not in the forum, in the actual thread. For example, in a thread that`s 2 pages long, I need to start at the bottom of page 2 to see the beginning of the conversation.

I do have the option "linear with the oldest first." Sorry, I guess I can't help you with this.
