I don’t think it is cristatus. There doesn’t seem to be a caudal peduncle spot which cristatus has…unless the photos just aren’t showing it. I’d say the fish are H. stellifer. If it is H. stellifer the edge of the scales should be "tipped" a blue hue. And I can't tell this from the photos.
I had a brainfart when I posted the thread, I meant to type H. letourneauxi. H. cristatus should have a light colored ring around the mid body blotch as well.
This fish does not look like the H. stellifer I've had in the past and I think Steve has that species in his tanks, too. Not enough blue to be H. guttatus and head shape is wrong for H. bimaculatus.
